Mark D. Jetty, 36 of rural St. Michael, ND passed from this life early Saturday morning, March 13, 2010 at his home.
Funeral Services for Mark will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael, ND. Pastor Kevin Kaufman and Fr. Brian Moen will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael on Thursday beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service and Time of Remembrance at 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Friday will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
The procession to St. Michael will leave on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. from Wal-Mart.
Through the fog and the mist in the early morning hours Mark made his departure. Mark was born on February 6, 1974 at Williston, ND the son of David and Vivian (Mason) Jetty. Mark lived in St. Michael for most of his life. He attended school in Warwick. Mark worked as a bartender at the Bottle Shop and at Nellie’s Bar for several years.
Mark was a Nascar fan, an avid science fiction reader and he enjoyed watching a good Viking’s game as well as a WWE wrestling match. Mark liked to play bar bingo with his Aunt Betty but most of all Mark enjoyed playing pool.
Mark is survived by his mother, Vivian Jetty of St. Michael; brothers, Terry (Lorna) Mason of Mandaree, ND and Nicholas Jetty of St. Michael, ND; sister, Marlys Jetty also of St. Michael; nephews, Kelly Mason, Truwid Tikanye, Jordan Jetty, Brian Jetty and his favorite-Nickolas David affectionately called “Billy Bob”; nieces, Ila Mason, Jessie Mason, Lisa Mason, Mandy Ross and many cousins.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, David Jetty; brother, Dennis Jetty; nephew, Brandon Jetty, niece, Tara J. Mason; grandparents, Michael and Carolette Mason and Ambrose and Frances Jetty.
Serving as Casket Bearers will be Tom Sullivan, George Brown, James Green, Eddie Green, Blaine Leftbear, Steve Kraft, Lars Snortland and Roger Baker.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Mark’s friends over the years.
