Gina Marie Hoffner-Gonzales

Gina M. Hoffner-Gonzales, 43 of Crystal City, Texas formerly of Esmond,ND and the Spirit Lake Nation died on May 24, 2010 at Crystal City, Texas. A Wake for Gina will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Woodlake Recreation Center, Tokio, ND beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will also be at the Woodlake Recreation Center on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Deacon Tony McDonald will officiate and burial will be in the Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Cemetery, rural Tokio. The procession to Woodlake Recreation Center will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Friday from Wal-Mart. Serving as Casket Bearers for Gina will be Kenny Longie Jr., Hernando Jerome, Richard Cavanaugh, Gabe Shaw, Sam Merrick and Curtis Longie. Honorary Bearers for Gina will be Maxine Paul, Bob Olson, Stanley LaCroix, Jessica Longie, Vonnie Feather, Frankie White, Julia Blueshield, Kenny and Karen Longie, Kara Longie, Nicole Longie, RaeAnn Jerome, Amanda Jerome, Bonnie Jerome and family, Teddy Woods, LouElla Redfox, Sally Paul, Roberto Gonzales, Lavonne Alberts and family, Darwin Brown and family, Jason Brown and family and Gary Longie Sr. and family and all descendents of Philip Jerome. If we have forgotten to mention someone by name, it is not intentional. Please forgive us as we work through this very difficult and sad time. Gina Marie was born on June 26, 1966 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Ray Jerome and Pauline McKay. She was raised by her adoptive parents, Jack and Jeri Hoffner. She attended Esmond Public School. She was a talented basketball player and also a runner on the Track team. Gina loved to travel and especially enjoyed visiting with her many dear friends and beloved family. Gina was united in marriage to Ricardo Gonzales in November of 2009. Ricardo passed away on May 22, 2010. Gina is survived by her parents, Jack and Jeri Hoffner; daughter, Miranda Hoffner; sons, Tyler RedFox, Joshua Hoffner, Garret Cruz, Jason Hoffner and Devon Hoffner; grandchildren, Brooklyn Longie and Marshawn Longie; brother, Darin Loken; niece Kayla Merrick; grandpa, Bob Olson; nephews and nieces, RaeAnn Jerome, Hernando Jerome, Amanda Jerome, Dana Baer, Samantha Baer, Marissa Baer, Rock Baer Jr., Elijah Feather Jr., Dustin Feather, Dillon Feather, Brandon Feather, Virgil Feather Jr., LaDonna Feather, Cheryl Longie, Gary Longie Jr., Jennifer Longie, Tina Longie, Anna Longie, Conrad Longie, Cynthia Longie, Lance Longie, Jessica Longie, Kenny Longie Jr., Samantha Longie, Jerome Neiland, Angie Neiland, Cheyenne Neiland and Amy Redfox;cousins, Gary Longie Sr., LaVonne Feather Longie, Donna Stephens Longie, Kenny Longie Sr., Wilma Longie, Maxine Longie, Gabe Shaw, and Bonnie Jerome.
