He worked at Dakota Tribal Industries for a time and most recently as a cook at the Spirit Lake Casino, retiring due to complications of diabetes.
Philip’s childhood dream was to be a “Rock Star”. He was a talented musician- a drummer, who loved to listen to rock music and his favorite band was “KISS”. He was also an accomplished chef who loved to share his favorite creations with his dear family and friends. The phrase “man’s best friend” was so very true when it came to Emery’s faithful companion, Ginger.
Philip met Sally Brown in 1991 and together they were the proud parents of two children. Philip loved his family above all and was so very thankful for their love and support over these past years of his illness. We have lost someone very special to us and he will be in our hearts forever.
