Michelle L. Littlewind, 24 of St. Michael, ND died on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial for Michelle will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Fr. Paul Ruge will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. A Wake and Prayer Service will be held at St. Michael’s Recreation Center on Monday beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Rosary Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Music will be provided by Tony and Vina McDonald and Roger Ironshield. The Procession to St. Michael’s Recreation Center will leave from the Wal-Mart Parking Lot at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Serving as Active Casket Bearers for Michelle will be Jeremy Greywater, Jerry Greywater, Doris Thompson, Felix Whiteshield, Jeff Whiteshield, Trevor Cavanaugh, Son Littlewind and Tyson King. Michelle Lynette Littlewind was born in Bismarck, ND on February 3, 1982, the youngest of triplet girls to Marsha (Littlewind) Martin and Kenneth Thompson. Michelle grew up in the St. Michael community with her seven sisters and seven brothers. She attended school at Prairie View Elementary School, Central Middle School in Devils Lake, Four Winds High School at Fort Totten and the Pierre Indian Learning Center in South Dakota. She also attended Job Corp in Minot for one year. Michelle spent a year in St. George, Utah then returned to North Dakota where she worked at Sioux Manufacturing (SMC) in Fort Totten and at the Spirit Lake Casino. Michelle loved her family and two children very much and always enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews. Michelle is survived by her dear children, daughter, Elizabeth Eve Lynn Littlewind, Fort Totten Son, Monroe Romeo Amur Littlewind, St. Michael Father: Kenneth Thompson Mother: Marsha Martin Step-father: Rodney Martin Adopted Mother: Sheila Thompson all of St. Michael Sisters: triplet sister, Melissa Littlewind, Maylene Twohearts, Kendall Thompson, Keanu Martin, Blanche Martin, Rendina Lenoir and Sara Thompson. Adopted Sisters: Doris Thompson, Mary Twohearts, Melonie Bellisle and Candace Denne. Brothers: Christian Martin, Jeremy Greywater, Kenny Greywater, Jerry Greywater, Emery Greywater and Trevor Cavanaugh Adopted Brothers: Sylvester Littlewind Jr. and Daniel Twohearts Nieces: Jennifer Lynne Thompson, Jaleisha, Jenna and Jarissa Greywater, Kylie Thompson, Makisha Cavanaugh and Taeleisha Cavanaugh. Nephews: D’Angelo Littlewind, Jaylen Greywater and Keshaun Greywater.
