Christopher J. “Crickey” Feather Jr., 22 of Fort Totten, ND died on Monday, November 30, 2009 in Fort Totten.
A Wake will be held at the Fort Totten Recreation Center on Sunday, December 6, 2009 beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
The procession to the Fort Totten Recreation Center will leave at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday from Wal-Mart.
Funeral Services for Crickey will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Fort Totten on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Canon Jackie Bernacchi will officiate, assisted by Deacon Bonnie McNaughton and the reader will be Pastor Larry Thiele. Burial will be in the Presbyterian/Episcopal Cemetery rural Fort Totten. Music will be provided by Tony and Vina McDonald and Carol Greywater.
Christopher James Jr., the loving son of Chris Feather Sr. and Mena Shaw was born on November 17, 1987 in Sisseton, South Dakota. The family moved to Minneapolis, MN where he spent most of his younger years and attended his elementary school years at Four Winds, MN. He moved in the middle of his school year to Devils Lake, ND where he finished his elementary years at Sweetwater School. He attended middle school at Four Winds in Fort Totten. Christopher became interested in Job Corps which he attended in Minot, ND from November 2005 to April 2006 concentrating his studies in carpentry. He was at one time employed at the Spirit Lake Casino and Resort.
Chris Jr. was going for his GED at the Candeska Cikana Community College at the time of his death.
Chris was a loving, outgoing, caring, kind, funny, generous, open-hearted person. He always showed his children, family and close friends, great love and respect. He never judged anyone no matter what.
We have lost someone very special. He was a loving son, brother and father. He will always be in our hearts , forever loved and will never be forgotten.

Preceded in death by his baby girl, Izabelle Lynn Alberts and great grandparents, Theresa and Clifton Feather Sr.
Serving as Casket Bearers for Crickey will be Billy Decoteau, Derrick Guy, David Guy, Travis Dubois, Sr., Barney Shaw, David Dunn, Silky Rogers, C.J. Cavanaugh, Bernard Mudgett, Nikkolaus Rogers, Conrad Longie and Travis Dubois and Stephon Dubois.
