Mark Allen Fassett Sr.

Mark A. Fassett Sr., 24 of the Fort Totten/ Crowhill area died on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake. A Wake for Mark will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Fort Totten Recreation Center with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Mark will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Fort Recreation Center. Fr. Brian Moen will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. Music will be provided by the Native Connection Drum Group Mark Allen was born on August 14, 1984 at Devils Lake, ND the son of Mark Fassett and Sherry St. Pierre. He grew up in Fort Totten and Crowhill area. Mark graduated from Four Winds High School in 2004. Mark was very active as he grew up. He was in boxing, wrestling, football and Ultimate Fighting-he loved his sports very much. He enjoyed playing in Dart League and Pool League. He recently worked at the Spirit Lake Casino and was residing in St. Michael with his sisters. He loved spending time with his son and friends. Mark had many, many friends and was always with his twin, Monte. Mark had a great sense of humor and he always teased and joked around. Mark was always there to help if you needed a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on. We all know in our hearts, Mark is very happy. He is now with his daughter Matisha Lynn. Mark will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
