Levi Daniel was born on April 22, 1994 at Devils Lake, ND the son of Daniel and Laura (Dockter) Jager. He has lived most of his entire life in Devils Lake. Levi attended Sweetwater Elementary School and Junior High at Central Middle School. Levi was now a freshman at Devils Lake High School and was proud to be a Firebird.
Levi was very passionate about everything he did. He had a strong faith and trust in the Lord. He represented the true meaning of unconditional love. You rarely saw Levi without a smile on his face.
At a very young age, Levi developed a love of music. It wan't an option to miss one of Grandpa's concerts. He also attended plays and dance recitals. He loved to watch Mallory’s performances in orchestra and dance.
You always knew when Levi was at one of Jessie’s basketball games, because he was her biggest fan and best cheerleader.
Levi had a “tender heart” for everyone, but it was always the most tender for his brother, Noah. Their special “knuckles” hand signal was always a sign of their love for each other.
Levi had really gotten into the sport scene these later years and enjoyed watching wrestling, boxing, ultimate fighting and “Go Packers” was the Sunday TV theme. Levi really enjoyed any type of sporting event as long as his dad was beside him.
But for Levi there was no greater joy than being surrounded by his dear family and many friends. Levi had so many important people in his life. Gay Leapaldt meant so much to him and has been a significant part of Levi's life since he was 4 years old. No one was ever a stranger for long around Levi. He had a personality, such courage and inner beauty that you couldn’t help but love and admire him.
Levi was a member of Trinity-Bergen Lutheran Church and was attending Sunday School and Confirmation Classes there. He also participated in AWANAS.
Levi’s physical presence is gone from us, but his tender, loving spirit will be forever in our hearts.
