Peter Andrew Weisbeck

Peter A. Weisbeck, 56 of Devils Lake, ND died on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Towner County Living Center, Cando, ND. Peter Andrew Weisbeck was born on July 18, 1950 at Maddock, ND the son of Wilhelm “Bill” and Christine (Volk) Weisbeck. He was reared and educated in Devils Lake and made Devils Lake his home for his entire life. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Peter enjoyed all kinds of sports, listening to music and the outdoors and nature, especially rabbits and the many variety of birds in the area. As a tribute to his generous spirit and love, Peter donated to the Lions Eye Bank and his body to the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Peter is survived by his sisters: Dorothy A. Weigel of Devils Lake Betty (Dan) Eversvik of Minnewaukan, ND Half Brother: Leopold (Mary) Volk, Devils Lake Numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents and a niece, Shirley Kienest.
