Jami Rose Jetty was born on January 8, 1994 at Billings, Montana the daughter of James and Cora (Whiteman) Jetty. Jami attended Spirit Lake Head Start in 1997 and in the fall of 1998 began school at Standing Rock Public School in Fort Yates. In the spring of 1999, the family moved to Livingston, Montana and Jami attended school there. In the fall of 1999, the family moved to Bismarck, ND. Her parents attended the United Tribes Technical College and Jami and her sister, Dana attended the Jamerson Elementary School. When her parents completed their college education at UTTC in 2001 the family returned to the Fort Totten area. Jami then attended school at Oberon and Warwick and was presently a student at the Four Winds High School.
Jamie was a very caring person. She loved her sister, Dana so much she would cry when Dana cried and she missed her brother, Robert very much. She loved her niece, Cora and nephews, Louie Jr. and Taiyan. She always wanted to be with her friends and on the computer. She enjoyed visits with Mom and Aunties Catalina and Donna. Jami liked listening to their old stories. (So she would say; in Black and White).Jami was always afraid of losing her Auntie Catalina.
We love you and shall miss you always.
Jami is survived by her mother, Cora Whiteman Tiger, Fort Totten and father, James Jetty also of Fort Totten.
