Joseph F. “Beda” Teel III, 31 of Devils Lake formerly of Sheyenne and Grand Forks, ND died on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.
Funeral Services for Joseph will be held on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Devils Lake. James Travers, Family Ministry Coordinator will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, St. Michael, ND.
Visitation will be held at Gilbertson Funeral Hone, Devils Lake on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Friday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Thompson Sr. “Kojak”, Frank Charboneau and Bobby Baker.
Serving as Casket Bearers for Beda will be Doug Gray, Chris Barr, Gerald Berglund, Todd Erdmann, Rocky Lewis and Rusty Lewis.
Music will be provided by Molly Hoffman, soloist and Lynda Pearson, organist
Joseph F. Teel III was born on August 18, 1975 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Joseph F. Teel Jr. and Cynthia Olson. At a young age, he moved with his parents to Sheyenne, ND where he grew up and attended school. He also attended Northland Technical College and worked for Crary Homes. As a young boy, Joseph excelled in Tae Kwon Do and won a gold medal in the Junior Olympics.
On October 16, 1999, Joseph was united in marriage to Darlys Brown in Grand Forks, ND where they established their home for several years, eventually moving back to the Lake Region area where they lived, worked and raised their family.
Beda had many talents and as a self taught mechanic, he was always “tinkering” with something. He enjoyed machines and the outdoors which included riding motorcycle, 4-wheeling and snowmobiling. He also loved music and mud running in his monster truck.

Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Joseph was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Natalie Teel; his grandparents, Oswald and Frances Olson and Joseph and Frances Teel Sr.; father-in-law, Stephen A. Brown Sr.
