Jeribeth Johnson, 67 of Devils Lake, ND formerly of Little Rock, Arkansas died on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial Service for Jeribeth will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at River of Life, Assembly of God Church, Devils Lake with Rev. Paul Durbin officiating. Honorary Pallbearers for Jeribeth will be all of her dear AA friends. Music will be provided by Pastor Paul and Patty Durbin, vocalists and Kami Sanders, pianist Jeribeth Johnson was born September 11, 1939 in Cameron, Oklahoma. The daughter of Robert and Adele (Duschel) Johnson, she was reared and educated in Vista, California. Jeribeth married Edward Rodriguez in 1958 and they made their home in Garberville, California where Jeribeth owned and operated her own janitorial service. She worked as a Claims Adjudicator for the State of Arkansas for 10 years, retiring in 1994 due to ill health. In 1994, she moved to Devils Lake to be closer to her son Mike and has made her home here through the years. She was a member of the Assembly of God church. Jeribeth was an avid reader and loved to visit with friends over a cup of coffee. Her pet parakeets and cockatiel brought her many years of happiness. Jeribeth’s most treasured times, are those she spent with her children, grandchildren and dear friends. Jeribeth is survived by her Sons: Michael Rodriguez and his wife, Laurie of Devils Lake Joseph Johnson and his wife, Beverly of Clearfield, Utah Daughter: Crystabel Anselmo of Phoenix, Arizona Grandchildren: Jessica (Nick) Blace, Joshua Johnson, Michael (Lisa) Rodriguez Jr., Amber Rodriguez, David (Christine) Morse and Amanda Anselmo. Great Grandchildren: Caleb, Mya, Emma and Jaden Brother: Robert Johnson Jr. and his wife, Judy of Willamina, Oregon Special Friends: Barbara Thomas, Hensley, Arkansas Kathy McGarvey, Devils Lake She was preceded in death by her mother and father; brother, Tommy Montgomery and Michael Montgomery at age 2.
