Remembering the Life of Frank Senger
Frank was born on May 24, 1926 to Anton and Mary (Axtman) Senger at their home near Orrin, ND. The family later moved to a farm near DL where he attended a country school along with his numerous siblings. He married Amelia Schwan in 1944 and they had 5 children: Dennis, Joseph (died in infancy), Antonette (Toni), Steve, and Marilynn.
Frank worked at Tubby's Conoco for a number of years before opening his own service station, Phillip's 66 which he operated until 1966. Then he moved to Grafton and was employed at the Ford dealership. After a few
years he moved to Fargo and worked for Wallwork's Ford until his retirement.
