Anthony “Tony” Wadsworth, 73 of St. Michael, ND passed on to the Spirit World, Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral Services for Tony Wadsworth will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, St. Michael. Military Honors will be accorded by VFW Post #6547
Visitation will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 9:00 a.m.
The procession to St. Michael’s Catholic Church will leave the Wal-Mart Parking Lot on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
Casket Bearers for Tony will be Tony Wadsworth Jr., Timmy Wadsworth, Guy Wadsworth, Carlos Wadsworth, Lance Wadsworth, Shawn Wadsworth and Terry Wadsworth.
Honorary Bearers will be Dr. Khab Rabdi, Dr. Anthony Rayer, Dr. Roberto Moraleda, Dr. Jackie Downs, Sonta and Dean Dauphinais, Mary Ann and Cap Cavanaugh and the Staff of 6th Floor-ICU at Altru Hospital.
Tony as many people called him was born on November 16, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio, the loving son of Alice Carmichael and Scolagury Wadsworth. He was educated and worked most of his life in Cleveland. Devotion and hard work were two common words for Tony.
A Korean War Veteran, retired heavy machine truck driver and over-all incredible handyman describe Tony. Tony was a full spirited and caring husband, dad, brother, grandpa and friend. Tony is well known for his jokes, pranks, and stories. Our hearts are filled with the love he shared and unending memories. Rest in Peace for you will always be in our hearts.
Tony is survived by his wife of 38 years, Darlene of St. Michael where together they made their home.
