Marian Imberg, 100 of Devils Lake formerly of LaMoure, ND died on Friday morning, October 6, 2006 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake.
Mass of Christian Burial for Marian will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Fr. Donald Leiphon will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake on Monday, October 9, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. St. Rita’s Circle will lead the Rosary and Fr. C.F. Wilhelm will lead the Scripture Service. Visitation on Tuesday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass.
Serving as Casket Bearers for Marian will be Raymond Sletteland, John Sletteland, Kyle Sletteland, Thomas Senger, Chuck Shipley and Charles Spiesman.
Music will be provided by John Frelich and JoDee Lagein.

Marian was born in LaMoure, ND on July 17, 1906, the daughter of John and Lenora (Klein) Halder. The family made their home in LaMoure, moving to Devils Lake when Marian was in the 7th grade. Marian was united in marriage to Roy E. Imberg on April 18, 1936 at Devils Lake. They established their home on the farm north of Devils Lake. In 1970, they retired and moved into Devils Lake where they would make their home through the years. While living in Devils Lake, Marian worked at the Berg’s Store and later the S & L Store. Roy died on October 28, 1989.
Marian was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Rita’s Circle. She enjoyed working on different craft projects and also gardening and especially loved tending her flower gardens.
Marian is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Diane Imberg of Mesa, Arizona
Grandchildren: Pauline Morrison and her husband, Chris of Surprise, Arizona
Kevin Imberg of Stockbridge, Georgia
Great Grandchildren: Landon and Mickey Morrison
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; brothers, Michael, Jacob, Martin and Anthony Halder and sister, Lucille Schwartz.
