Elizabeth “Liz” C. Fuller, 78 of Devils Lake, ND died on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.
Mass of Christian Burial for Liz will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Fr. C. F. Wilhelm will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Friday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass.
Serving as Casket Bearers for Elizabeth will be Wade Reierson, Duane Reierson, Dean Nelson, Richard Halldorson, Steve Halldorson and Alex Dettling.
Music will be provided by Patty Cote
Altar Servers will be Trent and Niki Reierson and Haley Hoffner.
Elizabeth Christina Dettling was born on March 24, 1928 at Devils Lake, ND the daughter of Alex and Magdalena (Steffan) Dettling. She was raised and educated in the Devils Lake area. Elizabeth was united in marriage to Albert R. Fuller on January 7, 1947 at Devils Lake. They established their home in Devils Lake where they would live, work and raise their family through the years. Elizabeth dedicated herself to raising her family in their younger years and after they were older she worked for many years at the Davis Hotel and Pop’s Bar. Albert died on August 19, 1992. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Elizabeth loved to cook and was an avid reader. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and dear friends and neighbors.

Seven Great Grandchildren: Bradley Johnson, Danielle, Anna and Miranda Bartlett, Brook, Angel and Alex Wren.
Sister: Mary Brady of Fargo
Many Nieces, Nephews, Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; infant son, Albert Fuller Jr.; brothers, Leo, Paul, Alex Jr. and Nick Dettling; sister, Gunda H. Senger.
