Mason Joseph Dogskin, infant son of Shawn Dogskin and April PretendsEagle of Fort Totten, ND was born and died on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake. Funeral Services for Mason will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. Fr. Charles Leute, O.P. will officiate and burial will be in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Fort Totten. Tony and Vina McDonald will provide music for the service. Serving as Casket Bearers for Mason will be his uncles, Shanon, Shane and Sha Dogskin. Mason Joseph Dogskin is survived by his parents, Shawn and April of Fort Totten Brother: Marcus Dogskin Sisters: Kateri Dogskin, Kalista Dogskin and Katlynn Dogskin all at home in Fort Totten. Paternal Grandparents: Volante Littlewind of Fort Totten Albert Dogskin of Fort Yates Maternal Grandparents: Lorna Vreeland, Winter Haven, California Bernadine Broken Leg, Fort Yates Paternal Great Grandmother: Irene Littlewind, Fort Totten Maternal Great Grandmother: Gela Vreeland of Summerset, Michigan Aunts and Uncles: Bluesky PretendsEagle, Jo’l PretendsEagle, Shanon Dogskin, Shane Dogskin, Sha Dogskin, Tanis Dogskin and Trampis Dogskin. Many Great Aunts and Great Uncles and Cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William PretendsEagle; great grandfathers, John Littlewind and Raymond Vreeland.
