Christopher Kyle Cavanaugh, 21 of Fort Totten, ND died on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at rural Fort Totten.
Visitation will be at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Michael Cole will officiate with music provided by Smokey “Tado” Jones and Brody Cavanaugh.
Visitation on Thursday will be at Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Fort Totten, ND beginning at 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10:30 a.m Fr. Charles Leute OP will celebrate the Mass with music provided by Tony and Vina McDonald.
Christopher will be laid to rest in the Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Fort Totten on Thursday at 12:15 p.m., with Bishop Michael Cole officiating.
Active Casket Bearers will be Leslie Counts, Josiah Brown, Teddy Snell, Emmit Snell, Tyler Longie, Tom Longie Jr., Jerrit Smith, Bronson Cavanaugh and Baby Paul Cavanaugh.

Christopher Kyle Cavanaugh, the son of Paul Cavanaugh and Cheryl Bull was brought into the world on October 17, 1989 at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake, ND. Christopher grew up in Fort Totten and attended school at Four Winds. He lived with his Auntie Annabel DeMarce for most of his younger years, and Grandma Bernice and Lori Alberts and up until the time of his death he lived with his Uncle Jesse and Auntie Angela Cavanaugh.
Christopher successfully completed the Academic Program while he attended the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch in Bismarck, ND in 2006.
Christopher enjoyed playing video games, basketball and throwing the football around. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and cousins.
