Loren Douglas Toso

Loren Douglas Toso, 55 of West Fargo, formerly of Devils Lake, ND died on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family. Memorial Services for Loren will be held on Friday, October 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Rev. Jamie Desai officiating. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers for Loren will be Members of the Lake Region Shrine Club. Music will be provided by Lynne Webster, soloist and Lynda Pearson, Organist. Loren was born September 20, 1951 to Howard and Thelma (Reierson) Toso in Devils Lake General Hospital. Loren was raised and educated in Devils Lake, graduating in 1969. He attended Lake Region Junior College and UND. He held numerous jobs including nine years as Manager of the Paddle Wheel Lounge, Devils Lake. In 1992, he became the Manager of the Devils Lake VFW, holding that position until April of 2006. Loren enjoyed his dart teams, league golf, music, and above all else his unique family. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Devils Lake Masons, Lake Region Shrine Club and the Shrine Flag Corps. Loren is survived by the love of his life, Leta Holsinger, West Fargo Son and Daughter-In-Law: Rob Johnston and Stacey Nosbusch, Hillsboro, ND Sister: Pamela (Ed) Trouville of Florida Brothers: Kenton (Sandy) Toso of Utah Jon Toso, New Mexico Jerome (Mary Jo) Toso, Texas Gary (Wendy) Toso, Florida Kevin (Lori) Toso also of Florida Sister-In-Law: Diana Toso of Georgia Many nieces, nephews and extended family also survive.
