Erin Mae Bye, 25 of Devils Lake and Fargo, ND died on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at Innovis Health, Fargo, ND.
The Memorial Service for Erin will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bob and Joyce Bye home, 2306 13th Avenue SW, rural Devils Lake. Rev. Jamie Desai will officiate and burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery.
Parking and Shuttle Service will be provided from River of Life Church Parking Lot beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with the last shuttle to run at 1:50 p.m. There will be very limited parking at the place of service.
In case of inclement weather, services will be at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 612 14th Avenue NE. Listen to KZZY for that announcement.
Erin Mae was born on December 26, 1980 at Devils Lake, ND, the daughter of Robert L. and Joyce A. (Larson) Bye. She attended Prairie View Elementary School, Central Middle School and graduated from Devils Lake High School with the class of 1999. In high school she participated in the girl’s basketball program and also played summer softball. She attended Lake Region State College, Northland Community College and other secondary schools, working towards a degree in Early Childhood Development. She worked for a time as a nanny in Hartford, Connecticut and then returned to North Dakota where she worked at several day care centers and most recently at Memorial Day Care in Devils Lake and Here We Grow in Fargo. Erin was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Erin’s passion and love for her family, children and friends consumed much of her time and energy. She gave unselfishly of herself to brighten their lives and give them a sense of how special they were in this world, especially Chynna and Taylee Cavanaugh and Charlee Morgan. Her adventurous and carefree spirit was evident in all aspects of her life, from her infamous yellow mustang to the music she loved.
Erin’s contagious personality, her bright, beautiful smile and sparkling eyes showed love and warmth of her generous and caring heart and will be greatly missed and forever loved.
Erin is survived by her parents, Bob and Joyce of Devils Lake

Erin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eddy and Addie Larson and uncle, Mark Larson.
