Elizabeth (Hove) Ferley. She moved with her family at two weeks old to Balfour, ND. In 1927, they moved to the Lake Region area. Lila was united in marriage to Harold Kindervag in 1932 and they established their home on a farm in South Minnewaukan Township. In 1975, they moved to Devils Lake. Harold died in January of 1982. Lila continued to live in Devils Lake until December 2001 when she moved to Minot, ND and lived at the assisted living facility, Somerset Court, and Emerald Court for a short time. She moved to Williston, NDFebruary 2004 and entered Bethel Lutheran Home in the Alzheimer’s unit.
She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church where she was confirmed, a member of the Rebekkah Lodge, and a lifetime member of Sons of Norway. She worked for the Devils Lake Public School in Food Services for 14 years. Lila will be remembered by all who knew her for class, quick wit, and strong sense of humor. She always had a smile on her face and love to share.

Lila was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Robert Kindervag; sisters, Arlene Nelson and Adelle Harmon.
