Edna Ohma, 91 of Osnabrock, formerly of Hampden, ND died on Monday, May 15, 2006 at Cavalier County Memorial Hospital, Langdon.
Funeral Services for Edna will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Zoar Free Lutheran Church, Hampden. Rev. Craig Wentzel will officiate and burial will be in the Storlie Cemetery, rural Hampden.
Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the family present from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation on Thursday will be at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Serving as Casket Bearers will be Edna’s Grandchildren and their spouses.
Edna Bjorland was born on August 29, 1914 the daughter of Tobias and Greta (Haaland) Bjorland in Storlie Township, rural Hampden, ND where she was reared and educated.
Edna was united in marriage to Leon P. Ohma on November 14, 1941 in Hampden. They moved to Seattle, Washington for about 1 ½ years. They returned to North Dakota and started farming in the Alsen area. In 1950 they moved to the Hampden area where they continued to farm until they retired. In 1971, they moved into Hampden. Edna moved to the Good Samaritan Home in Osnabrock in December of 1990 where she resided at the time of her death.
She was a baptized and confirmed life long member of Zoar Free Lutheran Church, the WMF and was also a member of the Hampden Senior Citizens.
Edna is survived by her loving family.

Many Nieces, Nephews, Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon on April 8, 1995; brothers, Peter, Thoralf, Byron, Trygve and Jon Bjorland; sisters, Margaret Bjorland, Violet Bjorland, Agnes Borg, Gyda Thorson, Mabel Pollestad, Thressa Stone and Myrtle Thorson.
