Mary P. Feather BigTrack, “Wicinyanna Waditaka” (Brave Girl), 16 of St. Michael, began her spiritual journey Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
The Wake for Mary will be held at the Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to the Tekakwitha Center will leave at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday from Wal-Mart.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, St. Michael. Fr. Brian Moen and Fr. Charles Leute OP will concelebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery.
Music will be provided by Tony and Vina McDonald and the Eagle Tail Singers.
Casket Bearers for Mary will be Robert Little Jr., Alan Little, Joseph Little, Michael Little, Byron LittleGhost, Mary Twohearts, Haley Yankton, Dancia Jackson, Rose San Migual and Shannon Robertson.

Mary Patricia, the loving daughter of Wesley and Geneva (Feather) BigTrack began her earthly journey on August 5, 1993 at Devils Lake, ND. She attended Spirit Lake St. Michael’s Head Start from 6 weeks old until the age of 5. She then went on to kindergarten at Warwick Public School and was currently a junior. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and relatives. She played basketball, enjoyed running and working on sewing projects in her Home Economics class along with making wood carving objects in her Wood Shop class. In the summer months, Mary was employed with the Spirit Lake Summer Youth Program, working outside cleaning yards and with the Spirit Lake Elderly Program. She was also involved in the St. Michael’s Rec Boxing Club in 2009. Mary’s favorite saying was “I love you, I love you a lot”.
