The Greatest Mother and Grandmother, Monica Ann Owlboy Thompson, “She-Yo” 45, of St. Michael, ND died at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 29, 2006.
Funeral Services for Monica will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Michael Recreation Center. Pastor Larry Theile will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery on Saturday at 12:00 noon.
A Procession on Friday to Monica’s home at 7764 Matohin Road, St. Michael will begin at 12:00 noon from the Wal-Mart Parking Lot. Visitation will be at her home until 3:00 p.m. and then visitation will continue at her parent’s home at rural St. Michael. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. visitation will be held at St. Michael’s Recreation Center with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. led by Fr. Paul Ruge.
Casket Bearers for Monica will be Jodee Touche, Jackie Blackbird, Wess BirdHorse Sr., Kermit BirdHorse, Bradley Thompson, Ambrose Thompson, Jr., Gary Owlboy and Lonnie Owlboy.
Honorary Pallbearers will be All of Monica’s family and friends that shared a part of her life.
Monica Ann Owlboy was born on February 14, 1961 at Devils Lake, ND the daughter of Francis and Lillie (Belgarde) Owlboy Sr. She attended school at St. Michael’s School, St. Mary’s Academy at Devils Lake and Warwick High School.
Monica loved spending time with her family, especially her loving husband, her baby Danielle and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling to pow-wows, sewing, going to the park, shopping and spoiling her grandchildren. We will all miss her dearly.
