Helen E. Schrader Crary, 95 of Bethany Homes, Fargo passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at Bethany Homes.
Funeral Services for Helen will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at . Visitation on Saturday will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Helen E. Schrader was born on January 7, 1911 in Weaver, ND to the late James and Mary Ann Foard. She attended school in Weaver. Helen married Kenneth G. Schrader on January 12, 1934 in Langdon, ND. Kenneth and Helen lived in the Starkweather and Hampden, ND area. Helen cooked at the Hampden School for 16 years. Kenneth died on April 19, 1962. Helen moved to Devils Lake where she was Head Cook at the School for the Deaf for 9 years. She was united in marriage to Robert E. Crary on September 27, 1971 and they lived in Lewiston, Idaho until his death on January 20, 1982. Helen moved to Grand Forks, ND in 1982 where she resided until moving to Bethany Homes in Fargo in 1999.
Helen lived her life to the fullest and made many friends throughout her life. She was a Charter Member of the Rebekah Lodge, Life Member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Hampden Royal Neighbors. She entertained those around her with her love of music and dance. Helen had a love of gardening, canning and cooking for everyone.
Helen is survived by her son, Larry and his wife, Judy of West Fargo, ND
Twelve Grandchildren: Janelle, Troy, Loren, Ken, Kim, Allen, Rod, Nancy, Cheryl, Melanie, Renee and Roxanne.

Many Nieces and Nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth and Robert; son, Sharon; grandson, Keith; four brothers; six sisters and her parents.
The family wishes to express gratitude to those who cared for Helen at Bethany Homes, and the love, care and support in her last months from Hospice of the Red River Valley.
