He was reared and educated in the Starkweather area attending the area schools. Donald was united in marriage to Agnes Wentz on August 20, 1957 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. They established their home in Devils Lake and lived, worked and raised their two sons here through the years. Donald entered the United States Army in 1958 and served his country stateside until his honorable discharge. He returned to Devils Lake where he continued as the Parts and Service Manager of Ramsey Motors. He later became part owner and continued very active in the Devils Lake Chrysler Center until he retired. After retiring, Don and Agnes continued to make Devils Lake their home until 2005 when Don and Agnes decided to move closer to family in Woodbury, Minnesota. Don was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a life member of the Knights of Columbus and the Devils Lake Elks Lodge. Oh, how Don loved cars. He loved going to every car show, car auction and the new car smell was like the fragrance of a rose. He believed in good service and a good product and was proud to be a part of Ramsey Motors and the Chrysler Center. We have lost someone very special to us and we place him in God’s loving care. May he rest in peace. Don is survived by his wife of 52 years, Agnes of Woodbury, Minnesota; sons, Donald L.
