Joseph “Joe” Dahl, 73 of Devils Lake, ND formerly of Loma, ND died on Monday, September 4, 2006 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral Services for Joe will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake with Rev. Harold Ovre, Pastor of St. Olaf Lutheran Church officiating.
Graveside Services for Joe will be held at the Loma Cemetery on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.
Serving as Casket Bearers for Joe will be his nephews, Irvin and David Anderson, Jimmy Diamond, Dean and Kevin Boatman, Dennis, Douglas and Alden Harpestad, Robert, Mark and Jergen Dahl, Dennis Sholey, Ted and Keith Dahl
Music will be provided by Rev. Harold Ovre, Soloist and Lynda Pearson, Pianist.
Joseph Junior Dahl the son of Joseph and Emma (Schultz) Dahl was born on July 16, 1933 at Loma, ND. Joseph was raised in the Loma area and attended school in Loma. Joe worked for area farmers in Loma, Langdon and Nekoma and after moving to Webster he worked for Webster area farmers. He loved the tractors and combines. Joe never married.
Joe entered Heartland Care Center, August of 2003 and was a resident there at the time of his death.
Joe was known for his sense of humor. You could always have a good laugh visiting with Joe.

Brother: Jorgan Dahl of Tioga, ND
Sister: Mildred Sholey and her husband, Earl of Roseville, Minnesota
Sister-In-Law; Joyce Dahl of Loma
Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Medrick and Otto Dahl; sisters, Sarah Anderson, Julia Diamond, Gladys Boatman, Laura Harpestad and Delores Sanderson.
