Jon-Paul Terrence Brien

Jon-Paul Terrence Brien, 26 of St. Michael, ND passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009. Jon-Paul was born on October 9, 1982 in Devils Lake, North Dakota to Bennett and Sharon Brien. Jon-Paul was an easy, out going young man who enjoyed his life spending time with his family and friends, especially with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed participating in any kind of sports, especially basketball, baseball and football. He was a very avid pool player and always loved a good game. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music. He attended Four Winds Community School, where he graduated in May of 2002. In 2003, Jonny attended Cankdeska Cikana Community College at Fort Totten. Jonny will be remembered for his great personality and his ability to make a person smile. A Prayer Service will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The Wake Service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Michael’d Recreation Center. The service will begin with a procession of vehicles leaving Walmart parking lot at 4:00 p.m. from Devils Lake, ND. The Rosary will begin at 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church followed by the burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Fr. Brian Moen and Fr. Charles Leute.
