Michael “Dennis” Jetty, 44 of St. Michael, ND passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.
Visitation will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, St. Michael, ND on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial for Dennis will be held on Saturday, July 4th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and Dennis will be laid to rest in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6547.
The procession to St. Michael’s Catholic Church will leave from Wal-Mart on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
Michael Dennis was the son of Vivian and the late David Jetty. He was born on July 21, 1964 in Devils Lake, ND. He lived in Williston, ND for a while and returned to St. Michael in 1976 where he lived through the years.
Dennis attended school at Warwick, ND and then entered the United States Army, serving his country from 1982 until 1985. Dennis worked several summers as a custom harvester and he also worked at the Spirit Lake Casino for a time.
Dennis is survived by his loving family: His children, Truwid Tikanye of Devils Lake; Jordan Jetty of Mandaree, ND; Brian Jetty of CannonBall, ND; Mandy Ross of WoodLake and Nicholas David Jetty of St. Michael, ND;
Mother: Vivian Jetty of St. Michael;
Siblings: Terry Mason also of Mandaree; Marlys Jetty, Mark Jetty and Nicholas Jetty all of St. Michael;
Grandchildren: BrayLee, Nalayna and Rivers
Dennis was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Jetty; father, David Jetty; paternal grandparents, Ambrose and Frances (Lohnes) Jetty and maternal grandparents, Michael and Carolette (Smith) Mason.
Serving as Casket Bearers for Dennis will be Mahlen Redfox, Troy Redfox, Archie Redfox III, David Jetty, Eddie Greene and Clarence Morin.
Honorary Bearers will be all of Dennis’ family and friends.
