Michael “Micky” Charboneau, 53 of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Saturday evening, October 20, 2007 at his home with his loving family at his side. Mass of Christian Burial for Michael will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Fort Totten. Fr. Charles Luete, O.P. will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Crow Hill, ND. Visitation will be held at Seven Dolors Catholic Church on Wednesday beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to Seven Dolors will leave from the Spirit Lake Casino and Resort at 4:00 p.m. today. (Wednesday). Serving as Casket Bearers for Micky will be Dwayne Charboneau, Wayne Kennedy, Joel Lenoir, Kenny Charboneau, Jr., Billy Lara, Leroy Lara, Glen GoodSell and Russell Burdick. Honorary Bearers will be all of Micky’s dear friends and loving family. Reading the Scriptures will be Rosemary Marcotte and Pele Charboneau Gift Bearers will be Amelia Lenoir and Irene Shipley. Michael was born on June 27, 1954 at Devils Lake, the son of Charles and Theresa (Dubois) Charboneau. He was raised and educated in Fort Totten. He lived for four years in Grand Forks, but lived most of his life in the Fort Totten area close to his family. He worked with his father and brother at Lake Redi Mix for several years. He was married to Stephanie Waanatan and to this union a daughter was born. Micky loved to go fishing and ride his bike. To his family he was known as “Mr. Clean” because he kept a very meticulous house. The sparkle in Micky’s eyes and his gentle, loving smile will forever be missed and forever in our hearts and memory. May he rest in God’s peace. A special thank you to the Hospice Staff of Mercy Hospital and especially to Rosemary Marcotte for all of her tender, loving care. Micky is survived by his mother,Theresa Charboneau of Devils Lake Six Sisters and Three Brothers: Roberta Lara also of Devils Lake Adele Charboneau, Minto, ND Blake Charboneau, Wyoming Charlotte Charboneau, Devils Lake Amy Charboneau, Fort Totten Kenny Charboneau also of Fort Totten Jill Charboneau, Devils Lake Robin Charboneau, Fort Totten Varian Charboneau, Fargo Aunts : Mary Charboneau, Fort Totten Cecelia Cook, Sheyenne, ND Amelia Lenoir, Devils Lake Irene Shipley also of Devils Lake Uncle: Melvin Dubois, Minneapolis, MN Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins also survive. Micky was preceded in death by his father, Charles; wife, Stephanie; daughter, Sunshine Charboneau; brothers, Charles Jr., Arthur, Ricky, Russell and Joey Charboneau; uncle, Frank Charboneau
