A. Lorraine Robertson, Tehca Ski Win (White Deer Woman), 77 of Fort Totten, ND died on Friday, July 13, 2007 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.
Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Fort Totten. Fr. Charles Leute, O.P. will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, Crow Hill, rural Fort Totten.
Visitation will be held at Seven Dolors Catholic Church on Tuesday beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m.
The procession to Seven Dolors Catholic Church will leave the Wal-Mart Parking Lot on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
Casket Bearers for Lorraine will be John Robertson, Marty Robertson, Burton James Robertson, Emerson Smith, Gary Smith Jr. and Nicholas Touche.
Honorary Bearers will be the members of St. Mary’s Society of Seven Dolors Catholic Church.
Ardith Lorraine Lambert was born February 13, 1930 at Crow Hill, ND, the daughter of Charles II and Martina Grace (Young) Lambert. She grew up on the Spirit Lake Reservation. She graduated from St. Paul’s High School, Marty, South Dakota in 1948. Lorraine was united in marriage to Emerson Robertson in January 9, 1949 at Fort Totten. They moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1953. She lived and worked in Chicago for almost 30 years as a teacher’s aide at Little Big Horn School. They moved back to Fort Totten in 1980 and she served as a School Board Member at Four Winds High School for 15 years. Emerson died on July 7, 1992.
Lorraine greatly enjoyed beading and quilting and made many fine “star” quilts which she gave to many people. She was a member of St. Mary’s Society. She went back to school in her later years and received her Associate of Arts Degree from Little Hoop Community College. By all those who knew her, she was a kind and gentle lady. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emerson; daughters, Delia Robertson and Julie Ann Robertson; grandsons, Johnny Robertson and Allen Touche; brothers, Eugene, Charles and Mark Lambert; sister, Sharon Lambert.
