TRIMBLE
Lorraina Lorrie Trimble passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2007 at Dominican Hospital.
Lorrie was born in Thorne, North Dakota, one of 10 children. She attended a one room country school for ten years and graduated from Bottineau High School. After graduation she joined two of her seven brothers in California, working in a flower shop. Lorrie later moved to Santa Ana where she and her husband, of 55 years, Kenneth, raised their three children and she continued with her education at the Junior College.
The life Lorrie and Ken shared brought them to Santa Cruz some 35 years ago. Lorrie expanded her wonderful circle of friends through memberships in the Newcomer's Club and Emblem Club. At the urging of her Accounting Instructor at Cabrillo College she applied for a position at Bay Federal Credit Union. She started as a clerk processing DMV paperwork and rose to the level of Teller Manager and Assistant Vice President when she retired after 25 years.
Her many activities also included various charities and she was a tireless worker with Meals on Wheels and the St. Vincent De Paul Society. She will be remembered by her family and wonderful circle of friends as a caring, compassionate and generous person.
