James S. Brady, 70 of Minneapolis, MN formerly of Crary, ND died on Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Benedictine Care Center in Minneapolis.
Mass of Christian Burial for Jim will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Fr. Dale Kinzler will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Wednesday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass.
Serving as Casket Bearers for Jim will be Michael Brady, Steve Brady, Allen McKay, Rich Lybeck, Craig McKay, Will Nixon, Jim Nixon, Bob Durbin and Pete Vilandre.
Reading the Scriptures will be Joan Quick and Allen McKay
Gift Bearers will be Carol Lybeck, Jessica Lybeck and Paul McKay
The Eucharistic Minister will be Mary McKay.
James Sylvester Brady was born on December 15, 1936 at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake, the son of Owen Sylvester and Rose (Parker) Brady. He was reared and educated in the Crary area, graduating from Crary High School with the class of 1954. He worked for Super Value for several years, then moved to Minneapolis and worked for a manufacturing company for many years. After retiring in 1993, he continued to make Minneapolis his home.
Jim was an avid reader and also had become very interested in computer technology and the resources the computer age brought to us.
Jim is survived by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Bob McKay and Al Kiedrowski.
