Myron Dale Iron Hawk

Myron D. Iron Hawk, 37 of Minot, formerly of St. Michael, ND died early Thursday morning, October 11, 2007 from injuries sustained in an accident near Churchs Ferry, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. St. Michael’s Catholic Church, St. Michael, ND. Fr. Paul Ruge will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. A Wake and Rosary Service will held at the Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael on Sunday, October 14, 2007 beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The Procession to St. Michael will leave on Sunday from the Wal-Mart Parking Lot at 3:00 P.M. Serving as Active Pallbearers will be: Darwin Brown, Michael DeMarce, Cody Iron Hawk, Derek Iron Hawk, Robert Iron Hawk, Ted Shaffer, Robert Littlewind and Mike OneBear Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rev. Frank L. Picard of Minot, Merle Iron Hawk, Casey Brown, Joseph Lawrence Sr., Andy DeMarce Jr., Preston DeMarce, Marlon DeMarce, Marshall DeMarce, Cletus Lawrence, Michael OneBear Sr. and all of Myron’s brothers & nephews. Myron Dale Iron Hawk was born December 17, 1969 in Devils Lake, the son of Benedict and Elizabeth Iron Hawk Sr. He was raised in the St. Michael District and attended the St. Michaels Little Flower school. Myron received his GED from Job Corps in Ronan, Montana Myron enjoyed music; he always had to look good and liked to talk about the good times. His favorite pastimes included sharing favorite memories, playing basketball, lifting weights, reading a good book and of course spending time with family and friends. At the time of his death Myron resided in Minot. He will be forever loved and missed by all his family and friends. May he rest in peace. Myron is survived by his loving family. Iron Hawk; aunts, Frances Ross Brown, Bertha DeMarce, Sara Young Smith and Mary Mebebeya; uncles, Frank DeMarce and John Grey Wind.
