Mitchell Lee Littlewind

Mitchell Lee Littlewind, 18 of Crow Hill, ND passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Crow Hill from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Funeral Services for Mitchell will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Crow Hill Recreation Center, rural Fort Totten. A Wake and Rosary Service will be held on Friday (today) at the Crow Hill Recreation Center beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to Crow Hill will leave today at 4:00 p.m. from the Wal-Mart Parking Lot. Serving as Casket Bearers for Mitchell will be Lionel Littlewind Dunn, Austin Littlewind, Aaron Littlewind Dunn, Bruce Littlewind, E. Sonny White, Terry Dunn, Louie A. DuBois and AJ Littlewind. Honorary Bearers will be Nick Yankton, Rock Baer, Jr., Ronald E. McKay, Travis LaRock, Robert Snell, Jr., Phillip LaBlanc, Jr., Kyle DuBois, Kellen Littlewind, Dulan Longie, Joey Littlewind Robertson, Steve Cavanaugh, Jerry Thompson, Ivan Lovejoy Jr., Joseph Lovejoy, Rick Smith, Doug Yankton, Dean Dauphinais Jr., Dave Davidson, Ron and Ilene Carlson, Robert CavanaughVI, Duane Littlewind, John A. Littlewind, Darren Littlewind, Alfred Littlewind, Cyril Littlewind, Melchoir Mudgett, Bennett Mudgett and the Four Winds Community School/Faculty/Staff. Music will be provided by the Littlewind Drum Group and Tony and Vina McDonald Mitchell was born September 29, 1989 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, son of Carmen J. Littlewind and Vernard N. Shaw. He attended school at Oberon Elementary and transferred to Four Winds Community High School/Alternative. Mitchell was very athletic at a young age. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, football, riding horse back, playing horse shoes and just being with his family and friends. He also liked to listen to music. Mitchell will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts, minds and prayers. Mitchell is survived by his mother, Carmen and Eugene “Sonny” White Adopted Father, Terry Dunn Brothers: Lionel (Shereen) Dunn, Austin (Cherry) Littlewind, Aaron (Alyssa) Dunn, Marques (Desiree) Littlewind and Bruce (Cherilu) Littlewind. Sisters: Kaylene (Shobie) Littlewind, Adriane D. Shaw and LuAnn Shaw. Girl Friend: Megan Anderson Special Niece: Emma Dunn Special Nephews: Kenyon Dunn and Austin C. Littlewind Special Friends: Sylvester P.
