Adrian Lee Guy Sr.

Adrian “Lee” Guy, Sr. 70 of Sisseton, South Dakota formerly of the Spirit Lake Nation passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at his home.

A Wake for Lee will be held at the Woodlake Wellness Center, Tokio ND on Friday, February 21, 2025 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The procession to Tokio will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Friday from City Plaza.

Funeral Services for Lee will also be at the Woodlake Wellness Center on Saturday, February 22nd at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. Burial will be in the Dakotah Oyate Cemetery, rural Tokio in the spring.

Adrian was born May 29, 1954 to Frank and Cordelia (Douglas) Guy on the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota.

His father moved the family to Spirit Lake in the early 1960’s. Adrian and his 3 brothers and sister lived in the WoodLake area for many years until the death of his mother.

Adrian earned his GED in Littleton, Colorado while living there.

He is survived by his sons Vincent Curtis Guy and Adrian Lee Guy Jr. both of Moorhead, MN; one grandson Chaske Guy of Fargo ND, brother Jerome Guy and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Cordelia, his brothers Jerry, and Donray Guy and his sister Donna Mae Guy, and nieces and nephews to numerous to name.

Lee is in the care of the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake
