Aerial Lynn DeMarce, 38, Bismarck, ND passed away early Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Gilbertson Funeral Home in Devils Lake, ND.  Services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Gilbertson Funeral Home with visitation two hours before the service.  Burial will be at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Crowhill.

Aerial was born on August 22, 1984 at Devils Lake, ND to Roxanne Herald and Jerome DeMarce.  Aerial was raised and educated in Devils Lake, ND and Grand Forks, ND.  She received her GED certificate in Devils Lake, ND.  Aerial moved to Bismarck, ND in 2018 from Grand Forks, ND to be closer to her two older children.  Aerial worked as a waitress for Denny’s in Grand Forks and as a bartender for Bistro in Bismarck.

Aerial had an infectious personality that loved to joke and laugh.  At an early age, Aerial became known as Missy, which sometimes became Missy Moo or just Moo.  Aerial loved to garden, cook and watch reality TV shows, but most of all Aerial loved to spend time with her children.  

She is survived by her six children: Isis Greywater of Bismarck; Taylor Greywater (Alaura) of St. Michael; Michael Marion, Madison Marion, Minxie Marion, and Michaela Marion of Dunseith; Special friend, Mario Gonzalez of Bismarck; sisters Aja DeMarce of Bismarck, Alexa DeMarce of St. Michael, Alisha DeMarce of California, Cheyenne Schiermeister (David) of Bismarck, and Sonya Bull of Fort Totten, ND; brothers Jeremy DeMarce (Brooke) of Wisconsin, Jerome DeMarce Jr. (Naomi) of Bismarck, Donald Whiteman of St. Michael and Anthony DeMarce of Mandan; aunt and uncle/parents Francine and Leander (Russ) McDonald of Bismarck; aunts Donna Walking Eagle of Fort Totten and Lili DeMarce of Bismarck; uncles David Longie of St. Michael, Tim DeMarce of Crowhill, and Vincent Herald of Fort Totten, ND as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Welcoming Aerial home are her parents Roxanne and Jerome, brother Samuel, grandparents Loretta Jerome DeMarce and Alexander DeMarce, Melinda and James Thompson, and William Herald, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We sincerely apologize if we may have forgotten anyone as Aerial came from big families.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Sanford Hospital that provided care and comfort to our loved one during her last days with us, for all those that visited Aerial in the hospital or at home, and for those that offered prayers and hugs.
