Aimee Elaine, precious daughter of Bradley and Jeri (Odegaard) Larson was born on April 20, 1982 at Devils Lake, ND and would call it home most of her life. Aimee attended Devils Lake Public School, graduating with the class of 2001. Aimee had the honor of being voted Homecoming Queen her Senior year.
Aimee continued her education at Lake Region State College receiving her Associate of Arts Degree and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing from Mayville State College. At Lake Region, Aimee was active in the Student Senate and served as a Royal Ambassador and happily participated in the many activities and events of the college. While attending Lake Region, Aimee worked at Western State Bank and while at Mayville, she was selected to do an internship with the Department of Agriculture. Aimee returned to Devils Lake and worked in the Marketing Department for Metro Plains Management for several years.
Aimee could not resist the opportunity to work with her sister Cheri at Creative Impressions beginning in 2012 and with the best wishes for her success from the family, Aimee landed her “dream job” as the Event Promotional Manager at the Spirit Lake Casino in 2016. Aimee was made for this job. She had such a sparkling personality, a get it done attitude, a love of all people and knew how to have fun and to make life fun and exciting for others. She talked constantly about the great new ideas she had for events and entertainment at the Casino. Aimee was an over-achiever.
Fun loving, always the infectious laugh, the bright twinkling eyes, the light in the room, that was our Aimee. She was game for anything; ice fishing tournaments, every Halloween Costume Party challenge, the “funky” family events. Most importantly, Aimee was a loving, caring, beautiful daughter, sister, aunt, niece, dearest of friends to many and a faithful child of God. Just spending a few minutes with Aimee would touch your heart in a very special way and make it count.
Aimee leaves behind her loving family. Her parents Brad and Jeri Larson, Devils Lake; siblings Tanya (Dennis) Wentz, Larimore, ND, Brad (Chris) Larson Jr. and Cheri (Shawn) Martinson all of Devils Lake; nephews and nieces Brett (Mandy) Wentz, Haley Wentz (Adam), Jenna Wentz (Brandon), Kara Wentz, Steven (Taylor) Hoffner, Ryan Hoffner (Madison), Nathan Larson, Blair Martinson, Jailyn Martinson, Jolie Martinson and Jenae Martinson; great nephews Thomas, Zane and Jaimisen; Aimee's special friend Dana Burt; many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Aimee was preceded in death by her grandparents Eddie and Addie Larson and Walter and Marren (Kenner) Odegaard; cousins Erin Bye and Brent Borgen; aunt Joyce Bye and uncles Mark Larson, Wayne Fee, Farin Liggett Sr. and Walt Odegaard Jr. and fur baby Roxy.
