Amber Paige was born on December 6, 1989 at Devils Lake, ND the precious daughter of Viola “Lola” Waanatan and Melvin Langstaff Sr. She attended school in Warwick, Minnewaukan and Grafton.   She played volleyball while attending Grafton Public School.  Amber graduated from Warwick High School with the class of 2009.  She continued her education and was a CNA. (Certified Nurse Assistant).

Amber worked at the Spirit Lake Casino in Housekeeping and Food and Beverage Departments. She most recently worked at the Warwick Bar and always enjoyed running the concession stand at Fort Totten Days.

Amber came into this world as Amber Paige, but the nicknames she was given were numerous. Amber Woo, Bambie the Beast, Ambular, Ambitar, Amz, Lucy Little and so many more.

Amber loved life, loved to have fun with her friends and loved being with her family. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, riding 4 wheeler, walks, sunsets, flowers, clouds, had a sweet tooth for candy and was a “cleaning machine”.  She treasured every moment spent with her kids.  Amber liked to cruise with her cousin Khloe and Auntie Ella, jamming to her favorite song “Small Town Boy”.  She loved taking pictures with family and friends and was known as the “Queen of Selfies”.

Amber wasn’t shy about trying new things or taking a chance, but not on her own. She wanted family, friends or her sweetheart Chris beside her on any adventure. She was so looking forward to moving into their new home and even though she wasn’t a fan of “Slipnot” at first, she loved jamming out to it with her Chris.

Amber’s life on this earth was too short but the impact of her love, her outer and inner beauty touched the hearts of all of her dear family and friends forever. Our love for you Amber, our precious daughter, Mom, sister, granddaughter, auntie and dear friend will never end.
