Arlene K. (Littleghost) Lovejoy-Gomez, of Fort Totten, ND began her journey to the Spirit World on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at her home in the loving care of her many dear relatives and friends and Altru Hospice. She was 70 years of age. The Wake for Arlene will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at St. Michael’s Wellness Center beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday from city Plaza. Mass of Christian Burial for Arlene will be on Monday, April 16th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Paul Schuster celebrating the Mass. Arlene will be laid to rest in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Arlene Kaye Littleghost lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, April 8, 2018 with family by her side. Arlene was born on August 12, 1947 to Eva Longie and James Littleghost Sr. She had 6 brothers Leroy, Jordon, Lawrence, Francis, Eugene and Jimmy and 6 sisters Helena, Pauline, Elizabeth, Elaine, Melinda and Maxine. She had 9 children Justin, Sherri, Deanna, Gerald, Billy, Ivy, Casey, Ashley and Richard. Arlene attended the Circle of Nations School in Wahpeton, ND in her younger years. She continued her education at the United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck where she attained her certificate in Nursing. Arlene was an adventurous spirit and lived in several places including Denver, Colorado, Minneapolis and Moorhead, Minnesota, Grand Forks, North Dakota and Fort Totten. She liked to be on the go and enjoyed playing BINGO and going to the casino. She loved traveling with her great grandchildren. When at home she was busy with puzzles, crosswords and reading good novels. She truly loved her “Sessions” with family and friends. We shall miss our dear Arlene with all our hearts and send her on her journey with all our love.
