Barbara Gefroh (Kueneman)

Barbara Lynn Kueneman Gefroh, of Jamestown, ND, died at the age of 53 from terminal breast cancer, on December 31, 2017.

Barb was born July 23rd, 1964 in Rugby, ND to Bob and Clarice (Elfman) Kueneman. Barb graduated in 1982 from Devils Lake High School.

Barb, along with her first husband welcomed two children, Kayla and Rylee into the world. Barb made it her mission to show her children that faith, family and hard work are the most important things in life.

In 2007, Barb moved to Jamestown to join her fiancé, Bob Schilling. She made many friends and created the life she had always dreamed of.

Barb greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching their sports and attending school activities.

Barb is survived by her fiancé, Bob Schilling, Jamestown, ND; children Kayla (Kelly) Walter and Rylee (Kate) Gefroh all of Fargo; grandchildren Landon, Collin and Cannyn; parents Bob and Clarice Kueneman, Devils Lake; sisters Lori Swenson, Devils Lake, Linda (Chris) Koth, Minnewaukan, ND, Brenda (CJ) Ryan, Minot, ND and brother Rob (Kamie) Kueneman, Fargo; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and Bob’s family, Dalles and Sharon Schilling, Shaunda (Shawn) Krebsbach and Amber Schilling.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Clarence and Helen Elfman and George and Lavina Kueneman.

Mass of Christian Burial for Barb will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake with the Very Reverend C.F. Wilhelm celebrating the Mass. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass.
