Bradley "Harv" Delane Halldorson

Bradley D. “Harv” Halldorson, 55 of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Monday morning, August 27, 2018 in the loving care of his family and Altru Hospice at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake.

Bradley Delane Halldorson was born on March 25, 1963 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, the son of Richard and Mary (Senger) Halldorson. He lived, worked and called Devils Lake home his entire life.  Bradley attended Devils Lake Public Schools and graduated from Devils Lake High School with the class of 1981.  He attended Northwest Technical College in East Grand Forks, and received his CDL certification. 

Bradley worked for a time at the Home of Economy and also drove semi-truck for several area grain companies. In October of 1992, Harv began working for the City of Devils Lake and was soon to begin his 27^th year.  He had worked in several departments and was now in Utilities.  Along with full time work with the city, he also owned and operated the “Office Bar” for over 16 years. 

Bradley was a 27 year member of the Devils Lake Elks Lodge and was a dedicated member of the Devils Lake Volunteer Fire Department for many years.

Bradley was our beloved son, brother and uncle and was so very loved and will be so dearly missed.

Bradley’s loving family include his parents Richard and Mary Halldorson of Devils Lake; brother Steve (Donna) Halldorson also Devils Lake; nephews Nicholas (Yoonjung) Halldorson of Seoul, South Korea; Alex Halldorson of Devils Lake; niece Shana (Lawrence) Hegland of Fargo, ND; great-nephew Aidan Halldorson of Pittsburg, PA; and many dear cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Philip and Gunda Senger and Leslie and Viola Halldorson and many beloved aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services for Harv will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Reverend Tom Westcott officiating. Burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery.  

Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Thursday, August 30^th from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and will continue at the church on Friday one hour prior to the funeral service.
