Calia Hayward, precious child of Shania Alberts and Caleb Hayward was born and died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Funeral Services for Calia will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake with Father Paul Schuster officiating. Calia will be laid to rest with her great grandparents in St. Michael’s Cemetery.  Calia captured our hearts the moment we knew she was a part of our lives and with great sorrow we give her back to the Creator. Calia lives on in her loving family. Her parents Shania and Caleb; big brother Kaysen Hayward; grandmas and grandpas Lori Alberts, Thomas (Meda) Longie Sr., Valerie Walters and Christopher Hayward; great grandma Cynthia Alberts and Alan and Diana Dockter; aunts and uncles Ashlie Longie (Ted Snell), Thomas Longie Jr. (Nathaniel LeBeau), Tyler Longie (Alexandria Crowe), Quaide Longie, Gabrielle Mudgett, Dancia GreyBear, Tristan Longie, Daylon Longie, Devon Davis, Nickolas Trieb, Alexander Trieb and Nathan Trieb; many cousins; grandmas and grandpas Laure Dauphinais, Angela and Jess Cavanaugh, Robert Longie, Terri and Dallas Welch, Timothy Longie Jr. Relatives who have gone before us welcomed Calia with loving arms.
