Chris Michelle Redroad-Guy

Chris Michelle Redroad-Guy was born on April 16, 1974 and began her journey to the Spirit World on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Chris Michelle, daughter of Robert Redroad Sr. and Linda Feather was born in Devils Lake ND. She grew up in the Woodlake area of the Spirit Lake Nation. She attended Four Winds and graduated from Four Winds High School.

Before moving to the Fargo/Moorhead area in 2016, Chris worked at Spirit Lake Head Start and at the Spirit Lake Casino.

Chris was united in marriage to Alden Shane Guy and they spent most of their married life in the Moorhead area. Alden died on August 1, 2021. Chris continued to call Moorhead home.

Chris loved her family and just being around people. She loved to laugh and to make them laugh. She was exceptionally talented at drawing.

We are so sad. It is so hard to say goodbye to our sweet mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Rest in peace dear Chris.

Chris’s loving family include her daughter Brittany Redroad; sons Carmeron Redroad and Vandin Leftbear; grandchildren Tasheena, Edna, Carter, and Cassandra Living Good; special niece Erica Redfox; numerous nieces and nephews that she also loved; sisters Kelly Redroad, Susan Leftbear (Curtis), Catherine Leftbear, Roberta Leftbear, Samantha Leftbear (Richard), Leann Leftbear (Corey), Felicia Leftbear (Andrew), Alicia Leftbear and Jennifer Leftbear (Delson); brothers Robert Redroad Jr., Casey Redroad, Blaine Leftbear, Robert Leftbear, Ryan Leftbear and Lanny Leftbear; aunts Gloria Redroad, Renita Delorme, Ester Ironhawk, Laverne Feather Bear and Janice Feather; uncles Abraham “Lincoln” Redroad, Daniel Redroad, Roger Feather, and Tom Lee; cousins Donovan, Kevin, Cathy, and Rosann, Redroad, Yolanda King, Tyson King, Lyman Redroad, Tammy, Lindsey, and Fawnda Onebear, Dallas, Duane, Dwight, Dillon, and Starlet Thundershield.

Chris was reunited with those who had gone before: her husband Alden Shane Guy, parents Robert and Linda, sister Robin Redroad-Thompson, niece Emily Redroad, nephews Geoff Leftbear, Bol Deng and Kian Leftbear, grandparents Abraham Redroad, Alice Onebear, Donnie Redroad, Florence Onebear, and Beverly Onebear, uncles Mike Onebear Sr., Russell Redroad, Virgil Feather, Philip Feather, Francis Feather and Greg Feather Sr., aunts Sharon Redroad Thundershield, Andrea Feather, and Jennifer (Feather) Drake, cousins Dace Thundershield, Allison Conquering Bear, Mike Onebear Jr., Dylan Feather, Pamela Mazakahomni, and Krissy Richotte.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Redroad, Freddy Redfox, Keldon Keja, Kelson Keja, Richard Cavanaugh, Vandin Leftbear and Dwight Thundershield.
