Daniel L. Krueger

Daniel "Dan" L. Krueger, 61 of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at CHI, St. Alexius Health, Devils Lake Hospital. Funeral Services for Dan will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake, ND on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. There will be a time of fellowship at City Plaza following the service. Dan was a jeans guy, please feel free to dress casual.

Daniel Lee, son of Dale and Barbara (Jewel) Krueger, was born September 17th, 1963 in Milton WI. He grew up in Milton, attended school there and worked at various factory jobs.

He eventually made his way to Janesville, WI where he met his beloved Laurel “Laurie” Johnson in 1993. They were united in marriage on August 19, 1996, in Wausau WI.

Dan was a very devoted, loving husband. He was devoted to the skaters he coached and dedicated to his job of almost 9 years at City Plaza.

He had a smile and a sparkle that put others at ease. He wanted to serve others and give them his best. Always a great man of his word. He felt in his heart that the Plaza tenants and community deserved to have a Plaza that was well tended to. He had a “heart of gold” and always willing to lend a helping hand.

He loved his music, especially, female artists of many genres. Music touched his soul and motivated him.

He genuinely enjoyed being outdoors in the summer! Definitely his favorite season, which included making delicious meals on the grill.

He believed in Laurie and her dreams like none other! He would say, “Everything you and God touch, turns to GOLD.” His soul is now in Heaven!

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Laurie; brothers Dennis Krueger, Doug Krueger, and Dave Krueger; in-laws Lois and Lewis Johnson; sisters-in-law Lynn Fenton and Kim Paetnick and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
