David G. Johnston

David G. Johnston, 67 of Devils Lake ND passed away on Christmas Day, December 256, 2021 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Funeral Services for David will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake with Reverend Kevin Anderson, Pastor, River of Life, Assembly of God Church officiating.

David George Johnston was born on July 16, 1954 in Devils Lake to Robert and Luella (Spidahl) Johnston. He lived and worked in the Lake Region his entire life.  He helped his Dad on the family farm for several years. He then worked at Noodles by Leonardo in Cando ND. More recently he worked at numerous jobs around the Lake Region area such as the Sales Ring, The Ranch Steakhouse and White House Café. 

David loved his family and treasured his friends.

David is survived by his sons Jay Schnitzer of Fargo ND and Miles Kadlec of Devils Lake; brothers John Johnston of McVille ND and Miles (Pat) Johnston of Buffalo, MN; sister Linda Johnston of Cando ND; several nieces, nephews and numerous friends. 

He was preceded ibn death by his parents Robert and Luella, sister Sandra Johnston and brother William Johnston.
