Destry J. Holt

Destry Jesse Holt, beloved husband and father passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the age of 45 from complications of chronic health issues. He was born in Helena, Montana.

Destry enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, and skiing. You could always find him on a hill. After graduation, Destry loved to travel and eventually moved to North Dakota, opening his own grocery store, called “Rosies” after his dog of 18 years.

Destry met his soon to be wife Misty working at Leever’s Foods in Devils Lake. After dating for a year, they got engaged and married three weeks later and becoming a father to Lily and Ava.

Destry had an amazing sense of humor, a contagious smile and loved everyone he knew.

Destry is survived by his wife Misty and children Lily and Ava; father Monte Holt; uncles Brad and Connie, Mike and Colleen, Sean, and Jesse; aunts Marylu and Steve, Lorelei and Mike, Lynne, and Susan; nephews Ryker and Stosh; niece Loowindy; father-in-law and mother-in-law Dean and Dawn Olson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Derek and Tosha Olson; nephews Mitchel and Hunter and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Loa, brother Russ Roman, uncle Gilbert and grandparents.
