Donald D. Taylor, 79 of Grand Forks formerly of Devils Lake, ND passed away Thursday October 27th in Grand Forks.

Funeral Services for Don will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Reverend JoHanna Buchholz officiating. Burial and Military Honors will be at the Devils Lake Cemetery.

Donald Taylor, son of Donald Taylor and Lena (Senger) Taylor was born on August 30th, 1943, in Butte, Montana. He grew up in Devils Lake, attending St. Mary’s Academy and later Lake Region State College where he was a part of many clubs. Don was at one time married to Rosella DuBois.

 Don enjoyed keeping busy by woodworking, outings at the Casino and spending time with his family.

Don enlisted in the United States Army and honorably served his country until his discharge in 1967.  Afterwards he worked in construction for many years and later as a maintenance employee for REM of ND.

Don was united in marriage to Nancy Lien on January 24, 1995. They lived, worked and raised their family in Devils Lake.

Don is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters Jamie and Kari Jo; his canine companion Buddy; sons Dion, Donny, and Mike; stepchildren - Ed, Keith, Shelly, Mary, Greg and Vern; seven grandchildren Autumn, Alexis, Sabrina, Keenan, Branden, Easton and Faith; many dear in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Cory, stepdaughter Brandi and sister Lois Bjerke.
