Forrest Evan Weber, 30 of Bismarck, formerly of Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. The Wake for Forrest will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the St. Michael’s Recreation Center beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. from City Plaza. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, June 11th at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Father Paul Schuster celebrating the Mass. Forrest Evan, son of Andrew J. Weber and Denise J. Poni-Cappo was born on October 31, 1987 in Devils Lake, ND. He lived in the Warwick and Devils Lake area until he was 14. He attended school in Devils Lake and participated in hockey and continued to be a hockey fan his whole life. Forrest furthered his education in Belcourt and graduated with the class of 2007 from Turtle Mountain Community High School. He continued to live in Belcourt until the age of 23 and then spent his time between Bismarck and Wisconsin. Forrest was passionate about many things. He loved his RAP, Heavy Metal and George Michael music. He loved taking long walks and the freedom of the outdoors. His most precious time was spent with his family, his nieces and nephews and his closest friends. Forrest loved eating, especially home-cooked meals. He enjoyed laughing and when asked about what he was laughing at, it was usually something crazy he thought of. He loved the band, KORN and even went to one of their concerts. He enjoyed watching movies, especially children’s movies and he could recite them word for word. He enjoyed writing journals and songs. His favorite hockey team was the Red Wings. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. We will hold his memory in our hearts forever. Forrest’s loving family include his mother Denise Poni-Cappo of Devils Lake; siblings Yolonda Weber, Nathaniel LeBeau, Layla (Christian) Ewert, Andraia Schwan, Mark Schwan Jr., Chad Poitra Jr. and Cale Poitra, Heather (Allen) Troy, Andi Weber, James Smith, Locke Smith and Rainna Smith; grandparents Jeanette Herald and Sharon Martin; aunts and uncles Janel Herald, Dennis (Michelle) Poni-Cappo Jr., Jarret Smith, Lorinda DeMarce, Cali DeMarce, Mike Martin, Dorette Venture, Nevesa (Dominic) Little Owl, Memory Poni-Cappo, Crystal Poni-Cappo, Christopher Poni-Cappo, Cecelia Poni-Cappo, Dale Weber, John Weber, Dorothy Neosh and Douglas Weber; God parents Jarret Smith and Cali DeMarce; special niece and nephew Norrah and Aven Gourneau; and other dear relatives and extended family. He was preceded in death by his Dad, Andrew; grandparents Dennis Poni-Cappo Sr., Rose Lyons and James Smith; uncles Gabriel Smith Jr., Christopher DeMarce and Clyde Weber. Casket Bearers for Forrest will be Adam Berger, Christian Ewert, Daniel Leben, Joshua Lilley, Jaron Morin, Christopher Poni-Cappo and Shane Eback. Honorary Bearers will be Mark Schwan Sr., Residents and Staff of Gerridee’s Place, Bismarck and his nurse Megan of the Dakotah Foundation of Bismarck, Lola Waanatan and family, Clarice and Josie Lawrence and family, Keith and Lois Leben and family, Dean and Allison Blazer and family, Skip and Darlis Longie Sr. and family, his TMCHS Classmates, his nieces, nephews, cousins, the Wisconsin family members, the Turtle Mountain family members, Bethann “Cassie” Molkentin, Tim DeMarce, coaches Chuck Olson, Pete Jerome and Dave Duckworth and Hockey Teammates from the Devils Lake Blue Line Club and dear friends.
