With our sincerest apology we are sorry if there is anyone we may have forgotten for it was not intentional. He made such an impact on those he met and will be greatly missed. With the enormous amount of support from family, friends, and community, it was hard to list all by name. Just know that even the smallest form of condolences whether through messages/texts, posts, and calls will never be forgotten. It’s what has helped us make this difficult time even bearable and we are so very thankful. Francis “Ahhgoo” Cavanaugh was born on March 25, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake, ND. From the day he was brought home from the hospital he grew up on the Spirit Lake Reservation in the development known as Walking Eagle Circle. That’s where he did not always have permission yet still loved to explore around his home, even in neighbors property which thankfully they didn’t always mind. He loved most animals he came into contact with. His utmost favorite being his canine buddies. Much to his parents’ dismay, he would always sneak our dog food and even regular food to feed dogs that would come around. This made it especially hard for his parents to let him be outdoors because it was the one thing other than starting school this year, he loved to do. As a baby he had so many nicknames in his home but none stuck like the one his dad bestowed on him and that his family only knew him by, which was Ahhgoo. He was so excited to start school and started to become the most upbeat, non-stop talking (sometimes mocking), almost certainly the smallest little student in kindergarten. As hard as it was to be the ones to stand their ground with him, and it was very hard, Mrs. Fisk and his Momma held a united front on making him follow rules. He also became to be known as quite the handful, not just at home but also at school and did not like to be told the word “no”. So much so that when he’d ask for something or to do something in the recent weeks before his passing, where the answer was usually a nice “no”, he’d still shout out “Yay!!” in excitement each time.He loved and took advantage of being the baby out of 5 boys in his home because he would usually get one person to do or give him what he wanted from either one of his parents or his big brothers. Although memories through photos or videos, (a lot he took of himself on all devices in his home) it will never, ever be the same from him being here physically. It is those things that will help us remember the joy and love he gave us in his short 6 years on this earth. He is and will always be so very much missed everyday. Ahhgoo’s loving family include his beloved parents Fallon and Keith Greywater Sr; his siblings Mikayla, Kaiden, Keith Jr, & Kylon Greywater; bio siblings Ameron and Edward Demarce, Ash and Honor Edwards; only nephew/first friend Steven Redfox III or as he called him, Baby; and bio parents Dawn Cavanaugh, Chad Demarce. Until we are reunited with Ahhgoo he was greeted by the following family who knew him already; aunt Felicia Cavanaugh, uncle Jon Lawrence, Shirley “Auntie Beaz” Stensland, and those who met him for the first time in heaven; brother Kale Greywater, great grandmothers Priscilla Cavanaugh and Eunice Whiteman.
