Harper Ryan Schmiess

Harper Ryan Schmiess, precious infant daughter of Cassey Breyer and Eric Schmiess of Munich, ND was born on Friday, October 11, 2019 and passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at CHI, St. Alexius Health, Devils Lake Hospital. 

This precious child of God was loved from the moment we knew of her existence. Her time with us on earth was very brief but she touched our hearts in a very special way.  Harper lives forever in our hearts and memories. 

Harper’s loving family include her parents Cassey and Eric of Munich, ND; grandparents Lynn and Donna Schmiess and Jay and Gail Breyer; great grandparents Ed and Doris Bodnar, Mary Schmiess and Dale Massmann; aunts and uncles Jeri Schmiess-Penas, Brian Schmiess, Heather (Matt) Kram, Chris (DeAnne) Udby, Sarah (Todd) Fee, Haley (Luke) Kroeplin, Brandy (Darren) Bakke and Jesse (Kensi) Breyer; several cousins and godparents Haley and Luke Kroeplin.

She was welcomed into Heaven with great joy by her grandmother Kathryn Massmann; uncle Jared Udby; great grandparents Richard Schmiess, Wilmeta Massmann and Louis and Margaret Breyer.

Funeral Services for Harper will be a private family service on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Munich, ND with Reverend Scott Ramey, officiating. Harper will be laid to rest in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Munich, ND at a later date.
